The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), as the general partner of the Future Forces Forum 2024 (FFF), will have one of the largest exhibitions at the Prague-Letňany Exhibition Centre. It will present a number of companies of the CSG, which are among the leaders in the development and production of vehicles, equipment and products designed for defence and security forces not only in the Czech Republic, but also on world markets. By developing modern technologies and supplying products, the companies significantly contribute to ensuring the security of the Czech Republic and its NATO allies and partners in other parts of the world.
FUTURE FORCES FORUM 2024
The world-famous Tatra will exhibit a military logistics vehicle of the latest third generation Tatra Force series in the flatbed version on a 6x6 chassis at the joint CSG stand. It is a novelty first presented at Eurosatory 2024, which moves the level of capabilities, performance and safety of Tatra military vehicles a great deal into the future. The new cabins in standard and armoured versions, their improved interior or digitized dashboard and modern electronics meet the latest trends and requirements of the armed forces. In addition, the versatility of the new generation of Tatra Force vehicles is enhanced by the possibility of installing a wide range of air-cooled Tatra engines and liquid-cooled Cummins or Catepillar power units. In addition to the new generation vehicle, Tatra will also exhibit the Tatra Force 8x8 second-generation military heavy logistics truck.
Tatra Defence Vehicle (TDV) company, which specializes in the development and production of armoured land vehicles, will exhibit the TITUS 6x6 armoured vehicle at the CSG stand. This type of vehicle, which uses the Tatra chassis, was designed in cooperation between TDV, Tatra and the French company Nexter. The Czech Army has newly introduced this vehicle into service in the last two years in three special versions. TDV, in cooperation with Dajbych 4x4, will also exhibit a new military ambulance on the proven Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series chassis.
Excalibur Army will unveil a surveillance and patrol system named Hector in the world premiere, also on the chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series. Its main part is the Guardian 1.5 remote-controlled observation and weapon station, which is equipped with state-of-the-art optoelectronic sensors and a heavy 12.7 mm M2 machine gun. A great attraction will also be the Morana self-propelled howitzer, which represents the latest fully automated artillery system compatible with NATO standards within the Excalibur Army production portfolio. It uses the Tatra 8x8 chassis, while its concept differs from the established artillery systems of the DANA series. The Morana has a 155 mm gun with a barrel length of 52 calibres located in an armoured turret controlled remotely from the crew cabin. Another attractive exhibit will be the Patriot 4x4 armoured vehicle with high ballistic and antimine resistance. Thanks to its versatility and modularity, the Patriot 4x4, also built on the Tatra chassis, is suitable for both military applications and deployment by security forces and rescue services.
At the CSG stand, the Retia company will exhibit the ReGuard multi-purpose 3D radar, which is designed to detect and simultaneously track land targets and slow low-flying objects with a small radar cross section. The radar allows simultaneous tracking of land and air targets, making it suitable for close-range air defense systems or, for example, for use as part of anti-drone systems. Therefore, in addition to the ReGuard, the ReGun anti-drone effector will also be exhibited. Visitors will also be able to get acquainted with the ReTwis 5+ compact radar, which is able to find and track living people and animals behind walls or other non-metallic obstacles.
The MSM Group, which includes several ammunition manufacturers, will also exhibit at the joint CSG stand. The Slovak company VOP Nováky will show 155 mm NATO standard artillery ammunition, 155 mm training ammunition and 120 mm mortar ammunition. The Spanish Fábrica de Municiones Granada will exhibit various types of 120 mm NATO tank ammunition and 60 mm artillery mortar ammunition.
Karbox and Tatra Defence Systems (TDS) will present the Marrel hook loader on the Tatra Force 8x8 chassis as well as a wide range of Czech Camouflage Systems camouflage instruments for vehicles. Czechoslovak Export, which is an integrator of complex projects of CSG companies and also represents them in a number of regions around the world, will also present its services and projects at the stand.
