Baschieri & Pellagri was founded in Bologna, Italy in 1885 by Settimio Baschieri, a passionate hunter, and Guido Pellagri, a chemist whose experiments led to the production of smokeless gunpowder. Fiocchi Munizioni acquired the company in 2020.

    The company Baschieri & Pellagri, based in Bologna, was founded in 1885 by Settimio Baschieri, a passionate hunter, and Guido Pellagri, a chemistry graduate. His experiments led to the production of Acapnia, the first smokeless gunpowder. Passion for research and technology was, since the beginning, woven into the DNA of Baschieri & Pellagri .

    Today Baschieri & Pellagri is specialised in project and manufacturing of powders, “Gordon” cases, plastic wads and shotshells for smooth bore guns, used in competition and hunting sector.

    B&P is a worldwide premium brand and its shotshells are unique in design, technology, and performance.

    One of the main assets is the R&D and in the last years, the company, guided by responsibility for the environmental sustainability and working in synergy with academic research institutes, is actively investing in the development of green components, biodegradable. This project underlines the commitment of the company, always focused to anticipate the trend , bringing innovation to the market, providing customers exceptional experiences.
