The DSEI (Defence and Security Equipment International) exhibition, held every two years in London, is one of the world’s most significant events in the field of defence and security. This year, it will take place from 9 to 12 September, and for the first time, companies from the CSG Group will present themselves together under the CSG Defence division. These will primarily include Excalibur Army, Tatra Export, Tatra Defence, MSM Group, Retia, and Czechoslovak Export.
The company Excalibur Army from Šternberk will showcase its medium armoured vehicle Patriot 4x4, which offers high ballistic and mine protection and is suitable for various types of deployment. It can serve as a light combat vehicle, patrol, reconnaissance, or command vehicle, a carrier for weapon stations with different armaments, as well as an ambulance or a platform for diverse electronic systems. The vehicle is already in service with several armies, including in Poland, the Middle East, and South Asia. Excalibur Army will also present, through audiovisual materials, its full range of combat and support vehicles. This includes modern self-propelled howitzers Morana and Dita, both equipped with 155 mm NATO-standard guns, as well as key products such as the Treva-30 recovery and evacuation vehicle, the RM-70 Vampire rocket launcher, engineering and special vehicles like the AM-50EX and AM-70EX bridge layers, and the DECON decontamination vehicle, all built on Tatra chassis.
Tatra Export, a subsidiary of Tatra Trucks, will represent the Kopřivnice-based automotive company in London and present Tatra’s military vehicle model lines. Experts and visitors will be able to explore the capabilities and performance of the Tatra Force, Tatra Tactic, and Tatra Phoenix series through special exhibits and digital presentations. Vehicles from all three series are already serving in numerous armed forces worldwide. Tatra’s technological and development capabilities will also be represented by the Patriot 4x4, which is likewise built on a Tatra chassis.
Representatives of Tatra Defence (TD) will be available in London for consultations and discussions with professionals and partners about its entire portfolio of land armoured vehicles. These include the Pandur 8x8 platform and its latest addition, the Pandur 8x8 EVO wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, which had its world premiere at IDET 2025 in Brno. Another key product of TD is the TITUS armoured vehicle on a Tatra 6x6 chassis, already in service with the Czech Army in several variants and, in cooperation with KNDS France, also with customers in the Middle East. TD has also introduced the fully Czech-designed TADEAS vehicle on a Tatra chassis, which has already attracted its first customers. Additionally, TD specialises in the development and production of armoured cabins and superstructures for Tatra vehicles.
Another exhibitor at the joint CSG Defence stand will be MSM Group, which encompasses several manufacturers of modern medium- and large-calibre ammunition. The Slovak company ZVS, a traditional producer specialising in artillery ammunition for decades, will present examples of 155 mm NATO-standard artillery shells. Another Slovak firm, VOP Nováky, will showcase 155 mm training ammunition as well as mortar ammunition in 60 mm, 81 mm, and 120 mm calibres. Also part of MSM Group is the Spanish company Fábrica de Municiones Granada, which will display 105 mm artillery shells and 120 mm and 105 mm tank ammunition, both standard for modern NATO artillery and tanks. A new product will be 120 mm training tank ammunition developed in cooperation with VOP Nováky. Newly integrated into MSM Group is ZVI Vsetín, which will exhibit new 30x173 mm medium-calibre ammunition intended for infantry fighting vehicles and remote weapon stations.
The company Retia from Pardubice will, for the first time, present a system for neutralising aerial threats in the form of a detailed model. The entire assembly demonstrates a combination of two approaches to countering aerial targets. The first component is a medium- to long-range GBAD system, including truck-mounted radars, fire control centres, and missile carriers for engaging targets. The second component is an additional counter-drone protection system capable of tackling even small UAVs, with initial detection conducted by radar. This is a so-called "soft kill" solution, which has no fatal consequences for the UAV or its operator. Retia will also showcase the lightweight and portable ReTwis 5+ radar, capable of detecting and tracking people and animals located behind walls or other non-metallic obstacles.
Czechoslovak Export will also present its services and projects at the stand. The company acts as an integrator of complex projects for CSG Group companies and represents them commercially in numerous regions worldwide. Czechoslovak Export focuses primarily on large international projects, turnkey solutions, logistics, and financing in both defence and civil industries. Also present at the CSG Defence stand will be representatives of MSM North America, which recently secured a significant artillery ammunition contract with the U.S. Army, along with other CSG companies active in the United States. The CSG Ammo+ division will be represented in London by Fiocchi, which will exhibit at the Italian national stand.
