The CSG Group strongly objects to the false claims and destabilizing actions of the Promet Group, which, as a minority shareholder, is publicly questioning the legitimate decisions of the board. Promet, which in the past commercially benefited from Tatra without bringing in any new contracts, is now refusing to support an investment plan aimed at moving Tatra forward. CSG declares its commitment to continued growth and the protection of the company’s interests.
CSG is responding to a press release issued by minority shareholder Promet Tools. Unfortunately, the Promet Group and its CEO Denisa Materová continue their strategy of false public statements, which fundamentally differ from their actual actions. Their constant attacks through the media, as well as personal letters addressed to members of Tatra’s governing bodies, do nothing to support the company's development.
For years, the Promet Group benefited from supplying Tatra while bringing the company no new business. Now, when Tatra has a real opportunity to nearly double in size, hire hundreds of employees, and bring significant investments to the city and region, Promet turns its back on the development proposal.
“Through this, Promet and Denisa Materová have shown their true colors. It is almost laughable that Denisa Materová is now proposing a meeting with Michal Strnad to jointly discuss the future of Tatra. CSG made a similar proposal several weeks ago - unfortunately, those invitations went unanswered. CSG will continue to help Tatra win contracts from around the world, as it has done until now. It will support effective investments that help double vehicle production, and it will look for ways to implement the proposed investment plan even without the support of the minority shareholder. That’s why we are shareholders - to defend the company’s interests, which are the interests of all shareholders,” said David Chour, Vice Chairman of the Board and COO of the CSG Group.
