After nine years, Job Air Technic has changed ownership. The aircraft maintenance company, formerly part of the CSG Aerospace division of the industrial and technology group CSG, has been acquired by FL Technics. The buyer is a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services provider, and Job Air Technic will be a strong addition to its portfolio. The sale of the company, based at Ostrava-Mošnov Airport, is part of CSG’s strategy to consolidate its product portfolio and focus more intensively on its core business areas.

Job Air Technic became part of CSG in 2016, at a time when the company was in insolvency and CSG rescued it. This step helped preserve the region’s aviation industry tradition and employment. Over nearly a decade under CSG’s ownership, the company stabilized. With the opening of a second maintenance hangar with workshop facilities in 2020, Job Air significantly increased its capacity and service range, eventually ranking among the top ten MRO companies in Europe.

Job Air Technic is certified to maintain narrow-body aircraft, including the Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737, and also holds authorization for wide-body aircraft such as the Airbus A330. In addition, the company is certified to train aircraft mechanics and operates its own online spare parts store. Customers also benefit from its GO Team services – a team of experienced specialists capable of performing aircraft maintenance anywhere in the world.

“Our company has long specialized in so-called heavy maintenance of aircraft, which is often associated with the transfer of aircraft between operators. I am convinced that this specialization will complement the MRO service portfolio that Avia Solutions Group offers to its customers,” says Imrich Czére, CEO of Job Air Technic. “The MRO sector is currently undergoing significant consolidation, and becoming part of a global group represents great potential and opportunity for our further development.”

FL Technics, part of Avia Solutions Group, was founded in 2005 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Today, the company operates a worldwide network of maintenance hangars with a total area of 35,700 m² and is authorized to repair aircraft engines. Since 2022, the company has been bringing its subsidiaries under the FL Technics brand.

“The acquired facility adds significant capacity to our group network and services portfolio,” said Zilvinas Lapinskas, CEO of FL Technics. “It enables us to immediately serve our clients with eight fully operational aircraft maintenance bays, eliminatinga few years typically required for construction and certification. This acquisition also introduces us to an established client roster, while the strategic geographical location enables coverage of all Europe, North Africa, and Turkey within a three-four-hour flight radius.”
