Czech Olympic Team and CSG Join Forces

From 2025 to 2029, the new General Partner of the Czech Olympic Team will be CSG, a global industrial and technology group headquartered in the heart of Europe. “CSG as a brand shares the values that are inherent to top-level sport. Just like the Czech Olympic Team, CSG represents the very best of our country and contributes to strengthening the image of the Czech Republic as a confident and successful state,” said David Chour, Vice-Chairman of the Board and CEO.

In addition to supporting the Czech Olympic Team at the highest level, CSG will also back specific projects – including Czech Houses at the Olympic Games in Milan 2026 and Los Angeles 2028, the Olympic Festivals, and the Olympic Multiathlon, the largest project promoting physical activity and fitness among schoolchildren.

“Together with CSG, we see one of today’s biggest challenges in the health and physical condition of our children. Physical fitness is a pathway to building a healthier and more resilient society, which is our goal. We are very glad to join forces with a partner that cares deeply about the future of our country,” said Jiří Kejval, President of the Czech Olympic Committee.

David Chour added: “For thirty years, we have been developing industrial heritage, innovating, and strengthening our defense capabilities. Supporting the Olympic team as well as society’s fitness makes clear sense to us. We want to inspire young people to embrace an active lifestyle that brings them joy and helps them find themselves.

CSG is a globally recognized company in the defense, technology, and engineering sectors, with production facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, India, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Greece, Germany, and the USA. Among its key companies on the domestic market is Czech automaker Tatra Trucks. In Italy, CSG owns Perazzi, a world-renowned producer of sporting shotguns, used by Olympic champions including David Kostelecký, gold medalist at Beijing 2008 and silver medalist at Tokyo 2020.

“For us, the partnership with the Czech Olympic Team is not only a matter of prestige but above all of shared values. We believe in hard work, determination, and the ability to pursue one’s goals – principles that connect elite sport with our industrial group. Together with the Czech Olympic Committee, we want to motivate the younger generation to be more active and to show that success is born out of perseverance and teamwork,” added Kateřina Petko, Director of Communications and Marketing at CSG.

CSG has been supporting sports activities for a long time

Sports partnerships are nothing new for CSG

The partnership with the Czech Olympic Committee builds on a long tradition of sports support by CSG and its member companies. CSG is a regular partner of the “Sparta Honors” project, in which HC Sparta Praha pays tribute to members of the Integrated Rescue System. In the past, the group has also supported professional hockey in Pardubice. Tatra Trucks and other CSG companies are active in motorsport, for example through the Buggyra Racing team, a successful participant in the Dakar Rally. CSG companies also support amateur sport in the regions where they operate, and through one of the pillars of the CSG Foundation, the group finances sporting projects initiated by its own employees.

“For thirty years, we have been developing industrial heritage, innovating, and strengthening our defense capabilities. Supporting the Olympic team as well as society’s fitness makes clear sense to us. We want to inspire young people to embrace an active lifestyle that brings them joy and helps them find themselves.”

CSG helps beyond sport

Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of CSG’s culture, and as the group grows, so does the scope and impact of its non-profit activities. The group has, for instance, supported the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion with multi-million crown donations for leukemia research and new medical equipment. In culture, CSG was for several years a partner of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and continues to support other major regional cultural events. The group also responds flexibly to extraordinary events: last year it donated eleven Tatra trucks to the Czech Fire Rescue Service to strengthen its capacity to deal with floods. It has also provided long-term humanitarian support to Ukraine, including generators, power units, and drones for municipalities in affected areas and even for specific units on the front line. In 2025, CSG consolidated its charitable activities under the newly established CSG Foundation, which focuses on three main pillars:

  • support for volunteer firefighters and rescue services,
  • support for the education of talented young people,
  • and support for employees who initiate their own non-profit projects.
