CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP, 100% owned by Michal Strnad, is changing its headquarters and moving to a brand-new building by J&T REAL ESTATE CZ, which will be furnished exactly according to its needs. The Karlín-based premium project Red Court designed by CMC Architects thus gained tenants a year before its completion.
The Red Court building itself consists of more than 7,000 sq.m of office space over eight floors and takes pride in its LEED GOLD sustainability certification. However, the human being is the center of attention, therefore the standard equipment includes opening windows with external blinds, roof terraces, a bike room, or showers on each floor. But the main feature is the internal modular layout and therefore maximum flexibility for tenants.
"The move to the new headquarters will allow us to have all of our group's employees under one roof, which will significantly streamline all processes. At the same time, I am pleased that we are staying in Karlín where CSG has operated for a long time. The Red Court project appeals to us because it meets all our requirements for office space, from accessibility through a high-quality workspace to the highest possible environmental certification of the building," says David Chour, Vice-Chairman of the Board of CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP.
Four hundred CSG employees based in Prague will move to the new headquarters. The project envisages both fixed desks and hot desks to share with employees and managers of the Group's companies based outside Prague if necessary.
"A deal where one tenant rents the entire building does not happen every day. It is a prestigious holding of companies mainly from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so I am glad that supply and demand have crossed paths right here. The new building is able to provide CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP with the necessary calm and comfort, therefore it has met even the highest requirements for a new headquarters," says Dušan Palcr, Chairman of the Board of J&T REAL ESTATE CZ.
The facade in an unusual brick color honors the industrial history of the site and the design of the building is linked to the neighboring Rustonka complex, completed by the developer in recent years. In the surrounding area the employees will find all the amenities offered by today's vibrant Karlín. Literally a few meters from the Red Court there are restaurants and services as well as the Invalidovna metro station and the Vltava cycle path. The planned development of Rohanský ostrov and the surroundings of Palmovka will further highlight the attractiveness of the location in the future.
