The Ammo+ division, which brings together manufacturers of small-caliber ammunition within the industrial and technology group CSG, has a new CEO. Petr Marijczuk, an experienced professional who spent nearly three decades at Benteler Automotive, has taken on the role. For the past five years, he served as Executive Vice President responsible for the North American region, managing Benteler Automotive’s production plants in the USA and Mexico.
Experience in leading manufacturing operations in the United States was a decisive factor for CSG, particularly considering that in November last year the group successfully completed the acquisition of The Kinetic Group, which comprises five American manufacturers of small-caliber ammunition, including the iconic brands Federal and Remington. Fiocchi, another member of the Ammo+ division, also operates production facilities in the United States.
"With Petr Marijczuk’s experience from the United States, we have found the ideal candidate for the position of CEO of our fast-growing Ammo+ division. The integration of The Kinetic Group into CSG, its further development, and the search for market synergies will present major challenges for Petr," said Michal Strnad, Chairman of the Board and Owner of CSG.
The new CEO of the Ammo+ division commented: "Ammunition production, similar to the production of automotive components, is a form of precision manufacturing. The positive market outlook in this new sector for me also played an important role in my decision. Beyond rapid growth, I was also attracted by the fact that CSG maintains the spirit of a family-owned company, much like Benteler. The management structure is more agile when you can interact directly with the owner."
Petr Marijczuk worked at Benteler Automotive for 27 years. He managed production plants in the Liberec region of the Czech Republic and gradually rose to lead operations across Central and Northern Europe, overseeing thirteen production facilities employing about 5,000 people and generating annual revenues of around one billion euros. During his tenure in North America, he was responsible for eight production plants in the USA and Mexico, employing over 5,000 people and achieving revenues of approximately one billion dollars.
Petr Marijczuk is convinced that CSG Ammo+ has a bright future ahead: "We are currently the largest manufacturer of small-caliber ammunition in the Western world. I firmly believe that CSG’s acquisition of The Kinetic Group represents a major step forward, creating numerous new opportunities — just as it has for the Fiocchi Group. These companies will continue to develop, and I am excited to contribute to such positive growth," said the new CEO of the division. He will gradually take over responsibilities from David Chour, Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of CSG, who has been temporarily overseeing the division.
Petr Marijczuk, a native of JablonecnadNisou in northern Bohemia, graduated from the Technical University in Dresden. After his studies, he spent three years working at Siemens before joining Benteler Automotive, where he worked in various roles for 27 years. He will officially join CSG on May 5, 2025.
